“Picnic Ceramics is one of the ways I express and share my love of ceramics”
The Hands Behind the Clay
Rebecca has spent the last 8 years working and experimenting with clay, moving towards what is now refined, delicate yet durable jewelry. Selling these pieces under the name Picnic Ceramics allows the range to speak to the laid-back, everyday feel that describes both the jewellery and herself.
Having been a hobby ceramist whilst studying, she moved full time into working with clay and now spends her time making jewellery, throwing larger functional and decorative ceramic wares and teaching pottery as an apprentice in a Johannesburg studio.
She runs Picnic Ceramics along with her husband, Curtis.
